Self-Guided Walking Holidays Cornwall & Devon

Self-Guided Walking at Bude

Bude is a superb destination for self-guided walking with relatively easy terrain along wild flower abundant rolling cliffs either side of this pretty Georgian sea port. Uniquely it also boasts miles of golden sands firm enough to walk comfortably, amazing folded rock strata, a canal with sea lock that once carried vital cargo and wetland areas ideal for birdwatchers.

Self-Guided Walking at Boscastle

Our self-guided walking holiday at Boscastle harbourside village is an idyllic way to explore the rugged North Cornwall coastline. With the inlet of Crackington Haven to the north and the mythical Tintagel Castle to the south there is lots of variety here, Port Isaac is only a short journey away too, so TV’s Doc Martin fans can take a stroll around the filming locations or take a guided tour.

Self-Guided Walking at Fowey

Fowey is a quaint harbour-side town that oozes maritime charm with its narrow lanes and rich sea going history with lots to offer self-guided walkers. It boasts a variety of amazing walks looping around coastal peninsulas interspersed with fishermen's cottages, medieval churches, castles and grand country houses. Just a step away from the town you are in quiet countryside, tranquil tidal estuaries and isolated white sandy beaches await you.

More self-guided walking locations for Cornwall & Devon are coming soon, including Plymouth, Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives and Padstow.
